Do I need to register for the Hungry Expats Reward Scheme?
Yes, you need to register with Hungry Expats before you can start collecting Reward Points.
Registering is free and only takes a minute and has other benefits such as viewing existing point’s totals, viewing past invoices and order tracking. You must be logged into Hungry Expats when you order to earn Reward Points.
Once you register you will be able to earn and accrue reward points, which are then redeemable at time of purchase towards the cost of your order. Rewards are an added bonus to your shopping experience on the site and just one of the ways we thank you for being a loyal customer.
How much can I save?
You will earn 1 reward point for every whole £1.00 spent (excluding postage costs). 1 Reward Point is the equivalent of £0.02 which is one of the most generous schemes available.
How can I use my Reward Points?
You can redeem your reward points at checkout. If you have accumulated enough points to redeem them you will have the option of using points as one of the payment methods. The option to use reward points, as well as your balance and the monetary equivalent of this balance, will be shown to you in the Payment Method area of the checkout. Redeemable reward points can be used in conjunction with other payment methods such as credit cards and PayPal.
Does the scheme work if I use a different currency?
Yes. If you are making your purchase your home currency, the website adjusts automatically and credits you with the correct number of points. Similarly, when cashing points in, the exchange rate is taken into account.
Can I Earn Extra Reward Points?
Yes! There are a number of ways to earn extra rewards points at Hungry Expats.
In addition to the standard Reward Points earned on every purchase, you will find products with extra Reward Points. Any product with this icon carries extra Reward Points above the standard rate.
Extra Reward Points are added to your overall Reward Points balance, and count for exactly the same as standard ones.
Earn additional reward points by contributing product reviews to the Hungry Expats website. Earn 10 points, which are worth 20 pence, for each review you write.
Earn additional reward points by Registering on our site and signing up to our Newsletter. You will earn 50 points, which are worth £1.00 when you register.
How can I check my current Reward Points balance?
You have the ability to view and manage your points through your Customer Account. From your account you will be able to view your total points (and currency equivalent) and a cumulative history of points acquired and redeemed. The history record will retain and display historical rates and currency for informational purposes.
Can I redeem against delivery costs?
No, Reward Points are earned for every pound spent on products only, shipping charges are excluded.
