Preparation and Usage:
I like to make mine...
30g Ready Brek to 150ml milk or water
It's easy - microwave for 1 1/2 mins or boil on the hob, stir halfway through, leave to stand for 1 min
Based on 750W category D and 1000W category E microwaves.
Please be careful with hot product or liquid.
Once prepared, do not store or reheat.
Recipes:
Ready Brek Protein Packed Bear Hunts Bites
Makes about 20, prep 15 mins
100g pumpkins seeds.
100g pitted dates.
2 eating apples, grated.
50g grated carrot (about 2 small carrots).
125g Ready Brek.
Tiny sprinkle of hot water from kettle (about 1-2 tsp).
30g of chocolate Ready Brek (optional).
1 Add the pumpkin seeds to the food processor and blitz until ground then add the dates and blitz again. Now add the apple, carrot and Ready Brek and whiz again until is completely combined and starting to hold together.
2 Trickle in a little hot water and mix, it will be slightly sticky but don't make it too wet or they will be difficult to roll and texture won't firm up.
3 Scoop out a heaped teaspoon at a time and roll into balls. Sit them on a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper, roll half in chocolate Ready Brek if using then put in the fridge to firm up for at least 1 hour.
